A serious, binding quotation is only possible after we have seen the document to be translated. For general orientation, however, we would like to provide you with an overview of the most important criteria that are decisive for pricing:

PRICES FOR TRANSLATIONS

DIVERBITY calculates on the basis of the source text. In this case, you know from the start exactly what costs you can expect. If the calculation is made on the basis of the target text, the price may be higher, depending on the nature of the target language, because the target language may require more words. This is a factor that can affect the price as well as the layout. Other important factors that go into the price calculation are the size of the project, the degree of specialization, the language combination and the deadline of the text.

PRICES FOR PROOFREADING

This is calculated based on a page rate or an hourly rate or a fixed sum agreed upon with the client prior to accepting the assignment.

PRICES FOR LOCALISATION

This is calculated based on an hourly rate or a fixed sum agreed upon with the client prior to accepting the assignment.

MINIMUM ORDER VALUE

At DIVERBITY, you don’t generally pay a minimum price. However, if this should be unavoidable in exceptional cases, the price is agreed with you before work is commenced.

EXPRESS SURCHARGE

The express surcharge is generally between 25% and 50% and applies for highly specialised documents, for texts for which is only a very limited amount of time available or for contracts requiring weekend, holiday or night-time work.
